Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa: A Perfectly Pleasant Getaway

I recently stayed at the Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa for a week-long vacation and overall, I would rate my experience as a 6 out of 10. The service at the resort was definitely a highlight for me. Every staff member I interacted with was incredibly friendly and helpful, whether it was the concierge assisting with tour bookings or the waitstaff at the restaurants. I felt well taken care of throughout my stay.

However, there were a few areas where the resort fell short for me. Firstly, the rooms were quite outdated and could use some renovations. While they were clean and functional, they just seemed a bit worn and in need of a refresh.

Secondly, the beach at the resort was not up to par with my expectations. While it was beautiful and had plenty of chairs and umbrellas for lounging, there was a significant amount of seaweed washed up on the shore. It wasn’t a deal breaker for me, but it did take away from the overall beach experience.

On the plus side, the resort had a wide variety of dining options, including several a la carte restaurants that required reservations. The food was generally good, although there were a few hits and misses. The buffet restaurant had a decent selection, but it did get quite crowded at peak times.

The resort also had several pools, including a lazy river and a swim-up bar, as well as a well-equipped fitness centre. There were also plenty of activities and entertainment options available, including daily activities at the pool and beach, as well as nightly shows and live music.

Overall, while Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa had its ups and downs, I would still recommend it for its excellent service and variety of amenities. Just be prepared for outdated rooms and some seaweed on the beach.
